This is fairly similar to how we track the contact form submissions and newsletter form submissions. We are doing pretty much the same setup except we are using url clicks for the social media links.
Here’s the setup for the tag
This is the trigger – you can insert full url or just facebook.com
Just repeat this process for the rest of the social media links.
Then for the all social media clicks just create a tag for social link click and add all of the social triggers to track total social media link clicks. Example below.
